All the big VPN providers are run from Israel nowadays anyway, just a few small ones are not. You can bet your ass they log everything. There are already a couple Dvpn solutions like sentinel and nym for example. In case vpn providers should really require age verification, they will get a lot of new users. Good. So i hope they require age verification soon. Decentralization FTW.

Would this not affect a 17 year old in the U.K, who is working an office job from home in which they would need to access their employer's system to actually do their job?

The United Kingdom already arrests 33 people very day for committing "hate speech", those that meditate will intellectually adapt or abandon all technology/social media, and those that don't will cease to exist as a species. They wish to implement Chinese facial recognition public surveillance cameras as well, but it currently thinks that all blackies and brownoids look the same.
