Questionβwhy was Primal able to allow zaps but not Damus?
Because Will has a big mouth.
When in primal wallet you have a chance to buy some sats through Apple account. I think they managed to trick Apple that sats are some primal tokens you can buy with a 30% Apple fee. Something like vbucks or whatever fortnight is using.

Congrats to the Damus team. The way Apple has damaged your project, and Nostr by extension, is something we shouldnβt forget.
Apple has become a massive drag on software publishers. Not only do they extort an exorbitant tax on app revenues, but they dictate which features can exist. Google has nearly the same amount of power, but they are not wielding it as aggressively (yet).
