Though if there's a desire for a sats symbol, my vote definitely goes to this:

That solves it for a certain kind of web form, but what about when just the amount alone is being shown somewhere?
B 2100 sats ? ...always with both? that's unworkable. when you attach one symbol or another to the number, it tells you what decimal paradigm you're in. "$1" on its own == "100ยข" on its own. "$0.50" == "50ยข"
