I studied marketing at university and had no formal CS education. Outside of a high school class, I didnโ€™t write my first real line of code until 2020, in my mid-20s. I started with a basic Python course on Udemy, because I wanted to contribute to the Einundzwanzig Telegram bot. Fast forward four years: I now earn a living by writing code. The demand for developers in the Bitcoin space is huge. Thanks to organizations like OpenSats and the Human Rights Foundation, itโ€™s even possible to make a living building free and open source software. You donโ€™t need permission. You can just build things. With resources available online for free getting started is easier than ever. AI can help a lot too (if used correctly and in moderation). So LFG! If you decide to try it, make sure to let me know and if you are looking for a project to contribute to, make sure to checkout Cashu ;) image
