I saw someone on dedbird saying the successfully sent @jack some sats so I just tried sending to my own cashtag and it worked

Does it work the other way around as well?
Can I share my LN address w/ cash app users and have them send me sats through my LN address outside of Cash App ecosystem?
That would save me a lot of invoice generating...
