Over the past few months, Iβve been unable to maintain the @npub1dx5q...88sj wallet or keep up with Cashu protocol changes due to personal circumstances.
This has unfortunately led to users losing funds because of critical bugs or mint incompatibility. The fast-evolving cashu ecosystem requires consistent commitment, which I failed to provide.
Iβm not leaving the project. I love both eNuts and the ecash communityβbut the timing hasnβt been right for me to contribute recently.
Iβm confident I can stabilize the wallet and upgrade to the latest mandatory #Cashu specs during Q1 2025. Until then, I recommend using the latest beta version, currently available only on Android.
iOS users should move their funds out of the wallet and uninstall it immediately.
I apologize for the losses that might have happened to you. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Sending good vibes. Hope to see you back in 2025. π€
Interesting, can confirm issue. Just tried to transfer 293 sats from enuts to cashu.me and it seemed to load them and then said the token had been spent, went back to ecash and confirmed that the token had been spent. No idea where the nuts went.
After I checked proofs my balance was adjusted and successfully transferred and ecash token, good luck to you brother on your future projects!
Development and new features are great, but nothing beats main chain layer 1 transactions. All the fee fearmongerers should stay away. I truly value the security and reliability of main chain and Iβm willing to pay the fees to keep the corn ππ«‘ that said itβll be exciting to see what else gets developed. Iβve lost 1.5+ million sats with nuts and ecash. I havenβt lost a sat except to fees on main chain.
But I wish you the best of luck! The network will only get better over time with new features and iterations of development, but at least we have a strong foundation to build on.
Anyone using any kind of ecash should be aware that this is development in progress and expect bumps along the way. Don't feel bad. Minibits is a great alternative as well. @npub1kval...tkzv
canβt send the tokens out via lightning it says
no_route
π€¦ββοΈ
is this another central point of failure of #ecash ? πββοΈπ¦
?
Have you tried sending via ecash (i.e. create a cashu token and redeem in another wallet)?
no_route is a Lightning error. Try sending it to a different Lightning wallet. WoS always works
i tried to send to web wallet and iβm able to send it to the new wallet but the i canβt seem to able to send it via lightning
does anyone know how to paste the tokens in #coinos
#asknostr
i will try wos and see if it works
worked with wos, thanks for that
It doesnβt seem like you can receive tokens in @Mysterious Hamster. Have you tried cashu.me?
You can paste tokens here: https://coinos.io/receive
Only if they're from us though, we don't handle tokens from other mints yet.
thanks, but i wanted to move from another wallet/mint

For 2 years I've been begging anyone to tell me why ecash is superior to running a lightning node. The only answer is the tired old "muh node too hard" trope.
Modern humans are *so stupid* that they will say running a node is too hard and then walk around with their sats in a pocket full of holes.
The whole point of Bitcoin is trust no one, verify it yourself. If we do not purge this "we need trusted custodians for Gam Gam" mentality we've been stuck in lately, this "mass adoption" everyone is so psychotically fixated upon will be meaningless. Mass adoption via custodians is not freedom money.
I can't see a single problem Ecash solves that a lightning node doesn't solve more elegantly, and ecash introduces new problems as well. I don't blame Agron; it's a larger cultural problem. Everyone here seems to be chasing a misguided incentive where they do the work of a node for the masses who aren't ready yet. Learning about why Bitcoin matters takes time and real work, but too many are trying to be the guy who invents a short cut to some watered-down "mass adoption".
A peer-to-peer electronic cash system is a node-to-node electronic cash system. Running a node is the standard, and anything less is simply not going to be good enough. If bitcoiner types truly want mass adoption as they say, they should be hyper-focused on how to run more lightning nodes in more places more easily.

My timing is great. I just left in time to move the funds to @npub1cash...8fhq Pheww
They you for you service and dedication to innovation and privacy though @npub1pp35...8nu7
Iβve loved what youβve built and it was my handy go to wallet on iOS for awhile.
Currently been using @npub1cash...8fhq and Cashu.me by @calle for those interested in potential alternatives.
Why I don't recommend e-Cash to any of my friends π
(I have lost tokens on literally every wallet i tried)

Hey mine is still working⦠is it cos my mint is minibits?

No, I'd recommend to follow Agron's advice.
I would also recommend migrating to a seed phrase.
Ok noted. Any other iOS cashu wallets?
Seed phrase?
Thank you for building eNuts. It was one of the first projects that I contributed to. π«‘

I just play around with it on Android. It does not offer me a Mint after installing it. @BTC Sessions has a nice Video Tutorial, but the Mint on my side is not offered and I used the CoinOS Mint.
He had also a Website link with mints in the Video to Manual add them! I don't find a eNuts Mint, only the 3rd Party!

DON'T USE ENUTS. IT'S NOT BEING MAINTAINED.

Hey man you good? Would love to see Enuts back on the rails and i think i'm not the only one. Any updates? Bless you π
Hi there, thanks for reaching out and for the kind words. There is currently no major update yet and not much to say about the project pipeline for now. Sorry to dissapoint.
Any new Update?
I am keeping this project for development and experimental purposes only and will not make any public releases for a while. Please use another wallet.
