I am going to get a lot of heat from Odell's followers but @npub10pen...n34f is literally funding some of the retarded devs who think that there is nothing wrong with shitcoin core V30 (aka malware). They just renewed his grant this month and if you still think that @npub10pen...n34f and @ODELL are anti shitcoin core, you are either shitcoiner on bitcoin or completely delusional. Odell has been trying his best to show his support to core without getting heat from plebs. Odell tells his followers to not upgrade but then he funds those retarded/compromised commie core devs who are trying to destroy bitcoin. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. He obviously funded some good projects but overall @npub10pen...n34f has been net negative for bitcoin and I think all of the funding organizations (& not just Opensats) do more harm to Bitcoin than good. If you really want to fund devs, zap him directly but DO NOT LET ODELL MAKE DECISION ON BEHALF OF YOU. STOP APPEALING TO AUTHORITY. IF YOU ALSO WANT TO SEE BITCOIN AS A MONEY (& NOT INEFFICIENT DATA STORAGE), LEARN SLAYING YOUR HEROS OR AT LEAST HEROS' IDEAS. Reference Link: -

I tried decentralised funding (via Patreon, GitHub Sponsors, and Bitcoin) for years. It just doesn't get enough donations to be viable. You can disagree with their funding decisions, but at the end, I think we do need organizations like OpenSats to arrange funding.

The problem with the organizations like Opensats is the people who run/manage these organizations often get captured by gay VCs/ bad actors or three letter agencies to subvert the Bitcoin and I think this is exactly what is happening right now. So yes you could be right that decentralized funding is hard and it could also be very difficult for devs to get funding directly from plebs but at least it's not as bad as these organizations subverting the real mission of the bitcoin in the name of No StRiNgS AtTaChEd funding.
It's been more than 12 hours since I posted this but @ODELL has no answer. If he doesn't want to answer this then it's fine but maybe he should make his words and actions align with each other so, I don't need to ask this same question again to him in the future.

I hope he can come up with something better than "don't upgrade your node" or "go fuck yourself" Moreover, look at the response @DETERMINISTIC OPTIMISM 🌞 getting from this corrupt/incompetent core clown but I don't know if this would be enough to stop Odell and NVK from funding commie core devs. View quoted note → image
