We wanted Zeus users to be able to easily create channel backups. We didn't want to deal with iCloud and Google Cloud. We also didn't want noobs to have to set up their server with something like Nextcloud or WebDAV. So we built our own channels backup service into our LSP, Olympus. Auth is done with signatures from your lightning node. Backups are encrypted using your seed phrase. It's coming in Zeus v0.8.0 along with our new in-app embedded node and 0-conf channel service.

🤔 if Auth is done from the lightning node how does one recover if they delete the app? Using device ID? If a device ID then how do they recover when switching to a new device? Sorry if some of these seem ridiculous questions but I feel I'm missing something. If recovery happens with your lsp that would make this amazing for noobs. Granted channel closure process would also have to be simple for a noob.
