A criptografia permitirá a todos expressarem-se e transacionarem bens de valor através de aplicações que seguem os conceitos do NOSTR. Isso trará privacidade e total liberdade, escapando de sanções impróprias. Essa evolução possibilitará um mundo mais livre, onde o papel do governo será gradualmente reduzido e, eventualmente, não mais financiado.

Someone needs to teach lay people about Nostr and big figures on Twitter need to direct Brazilians to Nostr and produce content here. On Twitter, most people only talk about VPN and posts about Nostr there have very low visibility. Some things don't change alone, people don't understand alone, we need to help them.

What is there to teach? Download a client -> click next next next -> search for people you want to follow and that's it! It's exactly the same as Twitter. Techy people can search and learn the details. Normal people don't have to. People aren't on #Nostr for only two possible reasons: 1) Inertia 2) Not enough network effect
If they can ban Twitter, they can also ban Nostr clients just like Bittorrent sites are banned in Europe... Once Twitter decides to leave Brazil their client becomes similar to any other Nostr client (Brazil can't censor content and Twitter can't monetize it).

Lets face it, govnts can ban anything on the internet easily , without effort. Decentralization alone isn't going to help one iota. If you need an IP address to access information, its easy for govnts to kill it. NOSTR is not censorship resistant with online clients. The ONLY way around around this is Tor (and less securely, and only in some instances, VPN). The internet 'dark web' will be needed by most people to do lots of basic stuff that's legal today. All decentralised open source projects need to focus heavily on Onion and Veilid clients if they are serious about decentralizing anything.
