The music industry is fundamentally broken, but Nostr, Bitcoin, and the value-for-value model give me hope that we can change that and truly support independent artists. It still blows my mind. I remember being at LAUNCH last spring, talking with dozens of musicians who were thrilled to earn just a few dollars for their music, because that was more than they’d ever received from Spotify. We'll be successful, but it's going to take a long while to change an entire industry.
