Sometimes I put it like "everything is Bitcoin"
some people say "Monero is a L2"
these things are *Isomorphic*
they can be used in place of each other and exchanged with little friction.
I think we need a new anti-maxi movement that emphasizes the *Isomorphic* properties of non-custodial decentralized crypto currencies.
Everything is Bitcoin.

The problem with terms like "maxi" is the meaning often gets lost, if it's ever properly defined.
I consider myself a Bitcoin maxi, but that doesn't mean I want to spend my energy using ad homs and bad faith tactics against people who use other tools. I don't have a problem with good faith debate and well thought out philosophical reasoning. But I rarely see that when it comes to this issue.
I don't believe everything is Bitcoin in any sense, but I do see your point that people can and do build easy to use tools for moving between the different tools. I just don't see the need to try and force these issues into a camp. Ultimately, people will use the tools that best meets their needs in their context. USD tokens (stable coins) are a good example. I can understand why an unbanked person in less developed nations would desire those. I can handle the Bitcoin volatility and I have access to dollars already.
The purity tests are what I'm tired of and see little value in. We should debate, but in good faith and with consideration for the differing needs of others. I've failed at this a lot up to this point, to be clear. Most of the things I post on Nostr are notes to myself first.
nah
I'm pretty sure its all Bitcoin
Well said. The longer i am in bitcoin the less "maxi" i get.
Nevertheless premine and pos is real and it is unethical.
There are great projects in other cryptos.
The problem is dogma.
I speak with bitcoiners blindly calling everything scam and stupid.
On the other hand, if you have no clue, stick with bitcoin.
