Signed up quite some time ago but failed to get to grips with it. Thought I would have another go as getting increasingly fed up with the cesspit that is Twitter.
Struggling to find people to follow who have the same interests as me.

It can take a little time. You’ll find your niche.
What are you interested in? On Amethyst you can search keywords to find conversations and follow people from there.
I've been posting occasionally but rarely do I get any engagement on new posts.
Fare slightly better with replies.
I’d follow more people even if you don’t 100% agree with them- do searches for hashtags you find interesting. Biggest difference between dead bird and Nostr is you have to do the work and our bots tell you up front. I try to follow 10 people a day and cull the folks that post noise.
