Why do heavy lifting to help a shitty company like Venmo by incorporating it in to a open protocol?
I came to nostr just because it was a free and open platform not because of bitcoin, but the bitcoin was a fantastic bonus, and the zaps reignited an old spark
but it’s not the primary driver of why someone should be here.
Free-speech comes first.
Yes, free exchange of money has been ruled by the court as free-speech but we all know that that’s debatable.
But closed corporate financial systems are definitely not free so if something was gonna to philosophically make the cut, it would be bitcoin not these other platforms.
