If I use my nsec from my cashu.me wallet, will that mean I have a new account on #nostr?

Yes the nsec there is a random key. So you could sign into that account too. You can also import your own nsec but the app says it's "dangerous" because then you're trusting your private key within the wallet.
The random one isn't meant to be used as an account really. It's for anonymous receipt.
