CashApp blacklists GrapheneOS.
I guess we're still cheering any adoption no matter how anti freedom and privacy a path it takes us down.

No one starts with self custody. Everyone must come through the door first with custodians at this point. Or they shitcoin first, then learn.
That's odd. On net I'm still cheering this on π«£
So it refuses to install? Even if an APK is obtained?
I just tried again and it looks like CashApp works on GrapheneOS now.
I know I tried before and got blocked at the play integrity API step. It still does a play integrity API check but in a profile with play store and nerfed play services installed I was able to transfer cash in, buy sats, and send those sats out to another wallet.
My apologies for misinformation earlier.
Interesting, I was always able to install, but when logging in and verifying it would just not go any further. Did you install from the sandboxed Playstore or using Aurora?
It wont let me login even though it installs. I have to use cash app on my normie phone i use for travel. I've tried it with both Google Play services installed and uninstalled.
Is cashapp something you fellas "need" or find really useful? Not judging, just curious. I know my normie friends that use it because they don't carry cash.
I literally only use it because that's how most people in my friend group split money around.
I could go without it personally, other than this.
Gotcha! Yeah I'm that friend that will hand you cash or expect cash XD Either that or learn to take bitcoin/lightning, loser.
Yeah, I try to give cash or Bitcoin with my Bitcoiner friends. It's my non-Bitcoiner friends that use it, I guess.
Sandboxed play store to install. Logged in with phone.
This. Closest thing to Bitcoin UI for giving money to normies.
Some banking apps don't play nice with Graphine. There is an app setting "Exploit protection compatibility mode" that might help with CashApp
