OK so I would sign up for alby and then select it as the keystore I would sign in for aqstr?

How do you use nostr? Which client? I use Primal. Some use Damus. Some use Amethyst. And there are loads of others - you need to put that npub into Alby, as far as I remember
Nos2x extension by @fiatjaf is also good
