Bitcoin has long since moved on from chat boards, home desktop mining, and small nerdy groups. Itβs now in the early days of mainstream adoption.
Nostr is still in that small, nerdy phase.
What takes #nostr mainstream? What needs to happen to get us there, to 1 million users, then 10 million, 100 million, etc? #asknostr

Maybe it would be good if Nostr could put in a monetization feature to make it more attractive and advertise Nostr among the general public.

Oh! β¦and Bridge Transitions.
Have you ever moved to a new house? Of course you have. When you moved, did you just go there, to the new empty house, and start over? No! You brought your shit. You loaded it all in a moving truck and you brought it. You know what else you did? You didnβt just make new friends. You gave your old friends your new address. And you probably even had a party to make sure they knew how to get there and they brought you some presents. Developers have been writing the migration processes. Account migration devs need to consult some socialites to understand what emotional damage a move to Nostr does to a person. When you move to Nostr, you need to be able to easily find your friends that are already there. I have thoughts for that. When you move to Nostr, you need to be able to tell your friends where you went, I have thoughts for that. And when you move to Nostr, You need to be able to easily cross post and communicate between your old platform and your new platform. Because after we move, we canβt expect our friends to just eat with us at our new house. We have to be able to eat at their house, sometimes meet up at restaurants.
