Australians now face digital ID checks and biometric scans to login to online platforms, all under the premise of protecting under-16s. Kids are now banned from select social media platforms but adults are the ones handing over their faces, IDs, and biometrics to prove they're not kids. Mission accomplished: they've turned "protecting children" into a universal surveillance upgrade for everyone.
