⚠️URGENT⚠️ #AskNostr Hey #nostr friends. Desperately need some help from the community. My family has sadly been forced to leave our beloved home on very short notice due to state-level threats. Looking for some place quiet to rest and recover for a while until we decide our next steps. Arrived safely in #CostaRica for now but also open to any interesting alternatives that nostriches around the world may be able to offer. Love nature, small villages, rural locations– not too crazy about cities. Have also considered Ecuador, Bali, Laos, Vietnam, Norway/Sweden… the list goes on. Let the universe decide! Do you have a quiet, private place you could offer us for a few weeks / months? (We are willing to pay in sats!) Do you need a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter / home sitter while you are away for a while? Could you use a couple of hard-working volunteers for an eco project, organic farm or maybe a Bitcoin-based initiative somewhere in the world? I worked as a travel photographer for about 12 years and have visited nearly 100 countries worldwide. My wife previously worked for a large international cultural organization and has a degree in Cultural Management and Education. We currently run a small scale farm ourselves and both have lots of experience tending both gardens and animals. I also have plenty of experience in landscaping, landscape design, and am willing to tackle any repairs, light carpentry, or home maintenance tasks I could help with. We are very tidy and trustworthy people and will absolutely treat your home or property with utmost respect and care. Show us what magic nostr can offer! I probably should have specified in the original post, but as a small clarification: the legal issues we are fighting have nothing to do with @npub1swee...ns6h or running a Bitcoin-based business. The State has forced us into an untenable situation due to a completely unrelated issue, and as a result we’ve had to take drastic action to protect our family’s physical safety. If you want to hang out in Michigan for a while, I have a yurt and tiny house you could rent. There are several other Bitcoiners in within an hour or two of me who are interested in hosting other Bitcoiners as well so you might be able to do a little tour of the area too. Michigan has a very strong Bitcoin culture.

GM! Look at this BOUNTY ya’ll! 100% nostr, 100% bitcoin… It’s literally a fucking miracle. Over 5 months ago, we walked out of our door– walked away from our farm, our animals, and the home we had built for the previous five years– not knowing if we would be able to return. But I kept zapping anyway. Every #ZapSnag. Every time a new bitcoin-based business was sprouting, I wanted to support them. THIS is what a blossoming circular econmy looks like!

 No wrapping paper, no pretty bows, no fiat bullshit. Just pure, brilliant PoW from nostriches around the world… all paid for with sats.
