My X account was just suspended, bc I causally joked that it would be kind of entertaining if Biden fell down the Airplane stairs on his last flight. And I don't even care very much... X is nice, but it's a pipe dream when it comes to freedom of speech. It forces me to use the real deal and by that contribute to make it big! Nostr I love you, you were made for me 💗
This is a great introduction to nostr. Thanks. Like you said, Nostr is much more than a social media, it is your own social internet facilitating grass roots discovery by seeing what your friends like. There is even an app store where developers can write code and publish it with their cryptographic identity proving that exact code was written by them. You can see which of your friends also follow the developer to make sure you are not getting scammed. This frees apps from the control of app stores.

I was hoping tiktok would die for many reasons. Chief reason is China uses it to spy on us. A close second is it popularized these shitty videos of fast talking 'influencers' doing the unsteady handheld camera against green screen schtick.

Thanks for letting me know. It’ll take a while for adaptation because it’s a learning curve, but I’m on. I’d send you some sats but I’m broke as all hell, the system has put my family and I through the wringer 😂 I stay humble and hopeful. Things will look up eventually for us. One day I’ll spin up my own space when I can afford to, that’ll be cool. I’ll enjoy the internet before they pull the plug on us plebs.

Would love to hear how "zap monetization" aka us sending sats p2p compares toward your average typical monetization of other videos on x or TikTok. Would great to get other content creators here as well and your feedback would go a long way!

Welcome to nostr. Nice video. I suggest using Get Alby's extention to login. I use the extention with the Kiwi browser on Android. Spring Browser is also good, but I only use the Android Open Source Project. I don't know much about iPhones. Extensions make it easier to login to multiple clients. Here's a great list
