Biden announced he is not running for president on Twitter, a centralized company, via an account for which it is understood he doesnβt control directly.
When thinking about the future, this feels like such archaic technology in the present. This is a world where the SEC account was compromised not that long ago and posted market-moving false information.
If a president has nuclear codes, he arguably should also have a signing key for any important communications.

Ten hours later ... GM from Europe.
The Whitehouse has a website! Which they still haven't updated.

If he doesn't control the account what makes you think he'd control a signing key?
and yet you can't leave your engagement bait habits back on twitter
This is the last time a president gives control over his personal social media to his staff.
Twitter is like Miami and NOSTR is like Paititi or El Dorado
I agree with this take but... just as a password could be compromised a nsec can as well. Don't get me wrong, Nostr is much better but it doesn't fix this fully.
