I just realized that ATProto is not a social network protocol at all, it could never be. It is actually a collection of "tools" for building centralized platforms.

You just articulated what I've been trying to put my finger on since I first saw it. It's not necessarily the "protocol" that is the problem, it's the architecture that is centralizing by design
regarding the original post, i understood that the complaint of "needing a bluesky account" refers to not many other public pds servers generally available yet, and that other pds users (for example blacksky) should be able to use their accounts

Mas você pode rodar o seu próprio PDS por lá, da mesma forma que você também pode rodar o seu próprio relay no Nostr. Você não depende do PDS tngl.sh e de nenhum outro. 😆
Por favor, ao criticar o Bluesky, faça uma critica real, com embasamento técnico plausível, para eu repostar. Eu também não curto o Bluesky, mas suas críticas e do pessoal daqui em geral são muito rasas e sem fundamento.
