Director of the Center for Local Self-Government (CLS) Nikola Jovanović stated that the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) intends to remove Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Šapić from office in the spring of next year, without an election, at a session of the Belgrade City Assembly, as they believe that the hole in the Belgrade budget and poor organization of works and communal services pose a threat to EXPO.
