Most modern therapy pathologizes normal life. Creates a victim culture. Turns trauma into identity. Labels everyone as some type of mentally ill, when really they just suffer from ordinary misery. Endless self rumination is toxic, which is exactly what therapy does. Thereβs no morality or guiding principles. I could go onβ¦ lol

"Most" would be the keyword here as none of this applies to my productive and beneficial experiences with therapy. Though I do agree with some of your points, I think labelling therapy as bad and a trap is generalizing and not valid. Therapy can be like a box of chocolates.
This sounds like you had a bad experience yourself on which you base a vague general statement , or you had no experience at all with makes the statement baseless. There is no βmost therapyβ as each example of therapy is a unique relationship between the therapist and the person using the therapy. Good therapy aims to undo all the things you listed, and is a useful tool for some aspects of life.
