I have developed a theory of virology where "misformed fragments" of DNA or RNA cause metabolic dysfunction in humans but are not transmitted by "viruses" but are instead created and replicated by the humans themselves.
Humans are the virus, which is why we cannot ever find viruses despite how hard we look. All we ever find are sets of DNA and RNA that are utilized by our own machinery.
Even the "misformed fragments" are not consistent among the same "disease" because we misformed them with each transmission even from person to person. This event takes place in all living species which is why "viral" diseases are host specific because the host is the creator and the proprietor.
This is why HIV is one of the many viruses that has never been found despite AIDS being propagated to humans by humans as a result of a toxic disruption to their on RNA.
COVID is no different. There have been fragments sequenced (spike etc) but no entire self replicating genome because viruses are a product of our own biology not an external particle to us.
AHuman misforms DNA/RNA due to some toxic event -> passes it to another human -> the new human is inflamed by this misformed DNA which it tries to use to make proteins that only cause more inflammation until the bad DNA is removed from its system.

Interesting, so a nucleic acid correlate to prions
How do you explain the electrograph images of the classic "lunar lander" shaped bacteriophages? Total forgeries? Error in the imaging process? Misinterpretation?
Also how distinct is your theory from orthodox virology?
"DNA/RNA fragment that replicates only in a suitable host, causing illness" is nearly their definition of virus
Interesting, but how does one "pass" DNA/RNA to another human? Do you mean by birth?
