I think it will work out in the long run, they just have so many things automated, and so many users, that it takes time to recover and correct. I get shadowbanned often by other platforms and I do think it just expires and starts working again. My 'Bitcoin' podcast's IG account wouldn't let me in for months earlier this year and then one day it just worked. Also if you know anyone who is a meta employee, I believe that helps move things along. But hope it's definitely not lost. Nostr will be here for you in the meantime πŸ’œ
That sucks! I hope you can convince them they made mistake and to reinstate your account... so, that you can then delete your account on YOUR terms. NOTE: I was going to say "...*immediately* delete your account..."; but I recently did this myself, and they make you wait 30 days - hoping you'll change your mind. 🀣
the truth is that I had closed my account voluntarily a long time ago, since I feel that Facebook has already deleted the last thing that made it fun to use its page, apart from the fact that the community that it has mistreated the most is the community of artists, because of how they prohibit them upload your own drawings, don't even upload links to them apart from the fact that with its AI even involved in private messaging it means that one can no longer use it for role-playing
Most people are sadomists. They prefer staying on a platform that will definitely hurt them like banks or social media corpos instead of telling their followers to move to free protocols like Monero/Bitcoin or Nostr. Enjoy the boot in your face. This is 1984.

Not what I wanted to wake up to... I feel sick... 18 years of history, memories, friends, and business assets, gone. image

Failed investment. Write it off. You could have used your time better by bringing those people who care and therefore matter to Nostr. Steep learning curve my friend. Enjoy. You'll be better off without your FB and IG account. Just embrace the change that is in the air. This is just the beginning.
Yeah after they removed mine in 2020, I never went back… I lost all contact with friends from around the world and old friends going all the way back to preschool that moved across the country… after that I realize how much of my communications were dependent on third parties… not doing that again
