ZEUS will never block payment to our competitors’ wallets, disparage or belittle anyone trying push Bitcoin adoption forward, or give up on trying to ship self custodial solutions. We will, however, continue to push the limits of what is possible on Lightning in order to provide an amazing payments experience, in a self custodial manner, for as many people as possible. The app store release of ZEUS v0.8.0, featuring our embedded node(“the node is in the phone”), OLYMPUS LSP, self custodial Lightning addresses, and rebrand, drops in December. Much more will follow in 2024. We’re grateful to everyone who’s come along for the ride with us and we’re excited to help onboard the next wave of Bitcoiners. ✌️

Big fan of Zeus and it's been my primary wallet for a couple of years with various back-end nodes - new UX looking sweet - keep pushing, keep experimenting and innovating .. and learning Critique on the fact that hodl invoices are pieces of toxic dogshit that are materially bad for the lightning *network* is objective commentary L1 fees *should* have been a design consideration, but where they haven't been, as they eventuate it's highlighting those who haven't thought that through to well (maybe lookin' at you Muun) Learning involves feedback and the experiment with hodl invoices has some pretty clear outcomes and they're not a net positive Personally, I'd prefer to see them dropped entirely. But then again I'd also like to see LND focus on BOLT12 rather than shitcoins on L2. I expect Santa will bring me a unicorn for christmas before that happens tho. At the end of the day, I'm not in the arena building like you guys are. Don't stop building .. and don't stop learning from experimentation and feedback <3
