Can we please have a bugfix for this 'Bitcoin core' spam attack - abusing this oversight in consensus rules. That's all that is needed to plug the hole and stop nodes from spamming bitcoin with non monetary transactions. Until then - Everybody who can install software: Run Knots

This is pure Streisand effect caused by knotzis making this a bigger thing than it should otherwise have been. Like any hype, it's temporal however, and at least is placed in the least bad place it could potentially have been placed.
