Can you elaborate on what you mean by "broken influencer incentives"? I never felt these were broken, just needed the right infrastructure around them to properly reward those who produce valuable content. I view it with the perspective that all influencers will seek "engagement at all costs", because it's part of human nature to want to make the most of your platform. But with Nostr, the free market of attention-givers will organically reward those who use that platform well, vs. those who don't, so the "misinformation" and other bad-practice content habits you mentioned will naturally melt away. Really appreciate your civil disobedience position O'Dell! Many like me have been shadowbanned for years on the other platforms. Nostr is for me one of the first times that I've actually felt I've been able to communicate with people.
Eye opener. Getting to know all those censorship point of friction is mindblowing. Nostr ultimately needs to inflict a cost to every actions on the network. It's the only way to deincentivize engagement farming and incentive quality content. Once you inflict a cost to an action alot more thought will go behind the impact of those actions. Humans were foolish to remotely connect all infrastructure to the internet or other electronic access. But Socrates never wrote anything down, or it could harden into a dogma. Even if you think its the same thing, you will be saying it differently as circumstances continue to change, and it will resonate in different ways.
