It's always great to clash and test the different approaches to decentralization, and Cory has valuable thoughts. I am biased towards action that builds an alternative rather than deconstruction, or trying to appeal to corrupted and morally bankrupt governments. He even said AT&T was broken up because some higher ups wanted it, not necessarily because of any political activism from below. It's an unreliable path, leaving freedom to the whims of people. The new foundation that will bring undeniable results starts with freedom tech, because nothing else gives us real guarantees of a credible exit. Written law can be there as guidance but has been superseded by permissionless protocols and cryptographic guarantees overall. Just like speech was obsoleted by writing.
