Take it from a Venezuelan, Leopoldo is not a Martir, he and his family were involved in corruption and shady relationship with the narcos. Ask him about the Monomeros takeover, a subsidiary oil company of PDVSA (Petroleos de Venezuela) in which he was a member of the new board.
It is easy to be all for freedom and truth, when you predicate it among people that don't know you. I'm not saying he was 100% corrupt, buy ANY Venezuelan would like to have many questions answered by Leopoldo. There are 800+ political prisoners in Venezuela today, many have been killed either by starvation, deprivation of needed medicines or simply murdered. Yet Leopoldo was "imprisoned'" comfortably in his house. Was even able to get his wife pregnant while in "prison". Then miraculously was able to rid himself of a GPS shackle, walk freely around Caracas calling for a rebellion and then fled the country. Houdini can't hold a candle to such a feat.
