For those who keep wondering, I’m gonna put this plain and simple for you. And whoever wants to add to this may. You’re invisible because you’re silent. Your notes hit the relays. They exist. But you’re posting like you’re journaling, then wondering why nobody’s connecting with you. There is no algorithm hiding you. You’re hiding yourself. Human behavior hasn’t changed. People respond to people who engage. You want to be seen? Be social. Actual social, not “post and disappear” social. Stop dropping 🤙 emojis like you’re collecting stamps. That’s not conversation. That’s performative participation. Start real conversations. Reply to bigger accounts. Reply to smaller ones. Ask questions. Challenge ideas. Share your actual perspective. Make people feel like you’re there. Your reply to post ratio reveals everything. If you’re posting more than you’re replying, you’re broadcasting, not building community. The beauty of your world? Nobody sees it because you won’t show them. You won’t engage enough to let people in. Nostr doesn’t owe you an audience. You build one through repeated, genuine interaction. One conversation at a time. Stop wondering why it’s not working. Start doing the work that’s always worked: talking to people. Now go start working. Or don’t, but don’t blame anyone else.

I've been replying to things that happened to be trending. There's a reason I do that, and the spiritual reason is there. These people who want to engage like they're on Insta, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc. are all Jesuits or Catholic-aligned recipients of the Mark of the Beast (reverence and obeisance to the Pope), and they game the Jesuit-trained algorithms the way they were designed. That's what I do, and you can tell I was called to do this. It's a type 4 job, but I don't really care about that.
Agreed. Although I would say its not entirely the fault of the individual. Social media was brand new and reached mainstream / mass adoption quickly. From the beginning social media was born in the fiat mindset and advertisers quickly applied an old model to new tech and in the process also molded HOW people interact each with other They interact with each other in a round about way to ensure the most value is EXTRACTED rather then PROVIDED. #NOSTR and #BItcoin fixes this.
I am probably “doing it wrong” but when I read a note I decide if it is relevant to me and if it tickles my fancy I will respond just in whatever way I feel like. Sometimes a 🩷, ⚡️, or 🤙🏼. I do not think about what will happen next. I do not have any expectations here. Kind of strange to me that people have expectations in a group of strangers being friendly.
I say this to folks who seem introverted: it’s like life, where you can just chat with people. People LIKE chatting it up and feeling important in a conversation. Talk about stuff. Say what’s on your mind, ask for help with stuff, it’s all a way to put yourself in the mix.

Introverts avoid interaction in RL, why should it be different here? No problem in folks using this protocol to be silent and gather their own opinions. At least they're here. Some simply cannot grok the wiring of introverts, to a point of frustration. An Introvert perhaps just doesn't want, need or care about followers. 'To be invisible will be my claim to fame'
In meat space, you risk judgment and criticism which are tangible reasons to be introverted. A bad opinion can get you fired or ostracized. However online, your persona is a disposable account and insulting or disagreeing with someone has no impact on your life. It takes time to do, but rewore your brain that NOSTR is a fundamentally different space than what your used to. Your essentially safe to say anything.
