Iโm just going to say it.
#Bitcoin is far from inevitable.
The Bitcoin ethos and sentiment over the past few years have been absolutely ludicrous. The immaturity, delusion, and ignorance shown by most maxis have left this movement weaker and more fragile than ever. It has become an echo chamber filled with the same tired talking points, repeated on the same styled podcasts over and over again. "Hyperinflation is coming." "Itโs going up forever." "Bitcoin is an inevitability." "Bitcoin is the greatest invention in human history." Even "Bitcoin is God."
While the movement has been consumed by its own blind optimism and cultish rhetoric, the developers, node operators, and the broader ecosystem have been quietly co-opted and manipulated by state agents and bad actors with ulterior motives, selfish interests, and bad intentions.
Wake the fuck up. Nothing is guaranteed. Trust your intuition, and donโt fall into cult-like thinking.

Thank you for the thoughts. Mine, if helpful in response: If you think the message is flawed, or weak, or blind to risks, or the ecosystem is being captured, and growing fragile with hyperbole, etc -- be the change you want to see by offering a clear and alternate way to spend our time and energy. Bitcoiners are contrarians. They are optimists. They will listen, and get behind good ideas. We are all in this together.
Thatโs exactly what Iโm doing, pointing out the blatant and obvious ignorance that lies within the space.
However, itโs a collective movement fundamentally.
The worshipping of tech is bad in all cases, Bitcoin included.
Can it make our world better? Absolutely.
Will it ultimately solve sin once and for all? Not a chance.
Is it God? Absolutely not.
