Bumpy first day with a bit of setup trouble, which was easily fixable with additional reinstall via live medium. Had to re-add everything that was a custom install, but now it's updated and I like what I've seem so far.
If you need your env to be fully working and don't wanna waste time, I'd recommemd holdong off the upgrade until next year.
