I'm sure I remember seeing a post about a decentralised internet service that can be accessed using crypto payments, I've tried looking back through my bookmarks but nothing, anyone know what I'm talking about? #decentralised
I remember finding this Olivetti Lettera DL on ebay for pennies as a teenager and I just had to have it. I was enamoured by its class, the black leather and metal trim screamed quality and made me feel like i was engaging in something of value. At that point I had no idea the fiat system I was living in was a large part of the reason I felt disconnected from modernity and the culture I was surrounded by. I’ve always sought quality as far back as I can remember. The typewriter still works as well as when it was first made in 1965. I’ve used it for bits and pieces over the years and still love any chance I get to. #design #quality #old_school image
