I am Getting like 5 old computers from my work not being able to update to windows 11. I am looking to get into home labbing but I don't really know why I want to do this or what I am doing. Any suggestions on a first step and what to use them for? Load up the fastest processor with max ram and all the disks or run multiple systems for different purposes. I am just a gamer who has been building his own PC with a couple of engineering coding courses under my belt. Any help would be appreciated.
