My experience with the FreeBSD community is prominent members heavily promoting fashy trash like fash X fork and other fash propaganda, and the community attacking me vigorously for suggesting FreeBSD should consider things like a friendlier installer (something they are now working on and everybody is excited about).

Speaking of getting cancelled, I removed Home Assistant from my network. I wasn't using it, as we have far too few "smart" products in our house to really make use of it. My Home Assistant Dell box was just running without being used.
Google Home is more than good enough for the very few "smart" home stuff that we do.
I got basic smartcard login and hotdesking going! Still need to enter my password when I put the card in because I haven't enabled the passwordless option yet.

Mind you, we vote with paper and pencil, ballots are stored for recounts, and the entire counting process in every single polling place is open and freely accessible to any Dutch citizen. Our elections are most likely the most reliable and transparent in the world.
