The Crisis of Disability in America The latest survey reports that 36.63 million Americans have a disability. That’s an increase of 7 million over the summer of 2020, at the time when we were supposed to be in the midst of a debilitating pandemic. The disabilities began to soar only after the inoculation was pushed and sometimes forced on the public. The upward trend began in February 2021 and has not stopped.

Trump Makes Blunt Remarks on Conservative Opposition to Weed Heritage foundation scholar Paul Larkin said the order increases the likelihood that more people will use marijuana. “The real beneficiaries of today’s rescheduling decision are not Americans or patients suffering from pain, but the Chinese transnational criminal organizations, which control 75% of the illegal marijuana industry,” he said. “This means America’s enemy, the Chinese Communist Party, benefits as well.”
Don’t Go Wobbly on China the Trump administration has just signaled a troubling shift in its export control posture by permitting Nvidia to sell certain high-performance artificial intelligence (AI) chips—including the company’s advanced H200 series processors—to China. This decision severely reduces the United States’ comparative computing and semiconductor advantage over China, thereby abetting the boosting of China’s military and surveillance capabilities at a time of heightened and harrowing great power competition. There is no economic justification for such a strategic empowerment of our preeminent adversary. These chips are the engines that drive modern AI. Allowing their sale to China, no matter the regulatory strings attached, is senseless.
America’s Health Care System Is Terminally Ill The United States has the most expensive health care in the world while producing substantially worse outcomes. For example, the United States spends nearly $15,000 per person per year on health care, nearly double the advanced nations’ average. This spending represents 17.8 percent of total U.S. gross domestic product, the highest proportion of national income among peer nations. The United States has one of the lowest life expectancy rates of any advanced nation, with higher infant mortality and three times the average maternal mortality.
If Young People Want More Affordability, They Should Get Jobs The latest Labor Department data indicate that fewer and fewer males between the ages 16 and 24 are in the labor force. It used to be that more than 70 percent had a job; now less than 60 percent do. Labor force participation for men even into their 30s is at or near an all-time low. Men without jobs is a prescription for social chaos.
‘We Intended the Strike to Be Lethal’ Is Not a Defense | National Review The laws of war, incorporated in the federal war crimes statute, prohibit the killing of people who have been rendered hors de combat (out of the fighting) — including by shipwreck.
