Driving Bitcoin Adoption in Anambra State🇳🇬
Meet Prince — one of the members of our community here in Awka. After work yesterday, he stopped by @BurgerChickenCo for a chilled beer and lunch 🍺🍝 But this isn’t just another meal… he paid with #Bitcoin! ⚡ Real people. Real merchants. Real adoption. That’s what building a Bitcoin circular economy looks like. Zap them some sats 👉burgerchickenandco@blink.sv #Spedn
Watch till the end!!! 🥳 We just onboarded Kachisweetpot, a pastry and snacks vendor (think chin chin and more), into accepting Bitcoin as payment. In her own words: “Bitcoin Anambra made me understand that Bitcoin is not just for people in high places but for everyone.” Step by step, we are building circular economies, helping merchants embrace Bitcoin, and showing how simple, fast, and borderless payments can be. Moments like this make it all worth it. You can zap her some Sats to welcome her: kachisweetspot@blink.sv
Last week Friday, we had our first Bitcoin On Campus Tour at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, IGBARIAM (state-owned college) and it was nothing shy of impactful and educational. Anambra State is still a virgin land as far as "Tech" is concerned and it's a big opportunity for us to help fill in that gap with Bitcoin. We touched the Evolution of Money and how it has evolved overtime from barter to Bitcoin. We also discussed how "fiat currency" is the real reason of poverty we see in our environment, it was a thought provoking event and this is just a start of many to come. Special shout-out to our sponsors and partners that made sure the event took place thank you @Blink Wallet image
