I swear I am NOT playing for the min cash. Yes, years ago, I played that way. Today, I had below-average card distribution, and a table of nearly all pros most of the day. I think I played very well. There was one hand where I regret that I didn't play the turn for a big check raise. I did find some cool spots that I would have missed not long ago.
Thirty away from the bubble, I had a slightly above-average stack. A top pro with more than $24 M in winnings hit a lucky three-outer to take a big chunk of my stack. Otherwise, I would have been cruising with a big stack. Then I lost two more standard pots, and found myself with 6 BB two players away from the money.
After the bubble, I got it all in three ways with the best hand, but it didn't hold.
Really annoying and disappointing result again, but happy with my play. On to the next one tomorrow...
