It is not ideologies that save the world, but only a return to the living God, our Creator, the guarantor of our freedom, the guarantor of what is really good and true. True revolution consists in simply turning to God who is the measure of what is right and who at the same time is everlasting love. And what could ever save us apart from love?

Many today speak as though the crisis in Plateau State is a thing of the past, but that is far from the truth. The people of Riyom, Bokkos, Mangu, and other neighboring communities still live with fear and loss. Those who say the killings are not happening now are either ignorant or intentionally blind to the ongoing pain. The blood of the innocent continues to cry out, and justice still waits unanswered. This is a photo of a 53-bedroom housing unit which I led the community of believers through our Outreach project, during one of the most difficult seasons in the history of Barkin Ladi. These homes were constructed in Takwok, a community that had been repeatedly attacked, burned, and left in ruins. For years, the people here have lived through unimaginable pain, killings, displacement, and the destruction of everything they called home. Trump Christians need you Human lives must matter again.

The Mass doesnot take the whole day. Let us avoid excuses that are not real. Let us go to Mass.

It's the feast day of St. Maximilian Kolbe. A Polish priest who was arrested by the Nazis during the WWII and taken to the concentration camp at Auschwitz where he offered to die in place of a young man with a family. Like him, may we always strive to be men and women for others.
