This poem hung in my room as a child because it hung in the Detroit Red Wings locker room in the 90's and has stayed with me my entire life:
⚡️⚡️⚡️
If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don’t.
If you’d like to win, but you think you can’t,
It is almost a cinch you won’t.
If you think you’ll lose, you’ve lost;
For out in this world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will
It’s all in the state of mind.
If you think you’re outclassed, you are;
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.
Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can!

"What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?"
- Matthew 16:26
Could it be any more obvious that Bitcoin in self custody is the only way that there’s going to be real adoption and suffocate the old system?
I mean, who are we fooling at this point?
I love when markets are in chaos. Anyone else feel the same way? 👀🤷🏼♂️
You can just do things.
Stop asking for permission.
🚨PSA: for anyone who cares about freedom -
Good thing George Washington didn’t give up when the King sent his troops over to stop him from gaining his freedom. “Aw shucks. Guess it was fun while it lasted. Pack it in, boys.”
Life is all the story you tell yourself.
If you tell yourself, the government is going to “stop Bitcoin” then guess what’s going to happen?
If you tell yourself that individual freedom and liberty is our birthright then guess what will happen?
See how this works 👀
We are the stories we tell ourselves.
Bitcoin cannot be stopped itself. The only way Bitcoin can be stopped is through human psychological operations perpetuating this kind of attitude and defeatist mentality. 🫡
