Always download directly from the source.
Verify the digital signatures and developer PGP keys.
🔸 Install and launch the software.
When prompted, choose where to store the blockchain.
Then start syncing with the Bitcoin network — this may take a few days.
🔸 Once fully synced, your node is live.
It now verifies blocks and relays transactions independently.
When connected to your wallet, you’re no longer relying on someone else’s node for information.
