#Listening to Rich People standalone track by Carsie Blanton from 2022; Licensed under CreativeCommons (BY-NC-ND 3.0), as is all the music she's released since on BC. Maybe everything there, but I didn't check every single release. #HatTip to the @npub1jjf9...3axq Radio music podcast for introducing me to this song, in part 2 of the interview with @musicman; #podcasts #BSOTS
"... NZ First leader Winston Peters described it as a "low-quality deal" and was withholding his support. His party exercised the agree to disagree provision of its coalition arrangements when Cabinet approval for the deal was sought last week, and made it clear that it would vote against enabling legislation if and when it was introduced to Parliament." #LillianHanly, 2025 https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/political/582511/labour-won-t-say-if-it-ll-back-india-free-trade-deal-says-it-s-a-good-step-forward Well isn't that interesting. Well that's an odd synchronicity. Sinkholes have opened up in England, Thailand and Norway. The first affecting a canal, the second a hospital, the third a railway and motorway. They don't seem to be causally related, but they're all at the top of the news this morning. #sinkholes image
#TIL that @npub1r5ta...l8ka has a Lemmy community; @npub16e38...9upu "Community for the Flounder online user group for free software people in Australia, New Zealand, and surrounding areas." Any software freedom folks in the South Pacific are also welcome to join our Discourse forum; Hey @npub16uk4...pv7k, in the new year, it could be a worthwhile experiment to set up peer-to-peer federation with Flounder, using the Discourse AP plugin. #Flounder #NZOSS
