Besides the fabulous interview, one thing that I often think of is the frustration that Kenster has with the audience considering Davis a meme. Also, a personal tidbit: I changed my degree from CS to math because of the big O notation.

For those that do web dev work that give any consideration to #OfflineFirst or #LocalFirst , make sure you grab a copy of MDN to run locally. Test it out by unplugging. Make sure you can see HTML, JavaScript, SVG, and CSS specs. There are multiple software ecosystems involved (NPM...), so now is the time to make sure you have a local kit running OK. This mitigates against ISP failure, identity enforcement (Microsoft account to access Github) and many other parts of the complex system that is usually invisible and/or unexamined.
