How would your MC react in a crisis or emergency situation?
Large & sweeping or smaller & personal? Maggie's great with the big ones. She sends out agents, plots & plans, & coordinates actions. She's not as great with personal issues, particularly ones that bring on big feelings, though, if it involves a physical attack she can hold her own.

What do you do to discourage or prevent insects and animals from eating your garden?
I don't have animal problems. There's no vegetables on ground. I tried growing squash & didn't get anywhere. I think it's a bee problem--I've never seen them that low, though there's plenty in the flowing bushes & trees. I have a pepper & tomato in a standing planter. Bees go there. Also moths, sadly, I have to search for caterpillars to pick off in the warmer weather.

What's the first thing readers learn about your antagonist?
This is harder for me to answer, as I have several. The first one you meet in the current WIP is in the 3rd chapter. Salson is a minor antagonist. He comes in with the mage rescue party. Maggie can't speak their language but, from his mannerisms & the way he looks at her, she can tell he's unpleasant. That's all the reader learns at that point.
