Sometimes I wonder, do service providers ever think? Netflix: I often spend time in different countries, staying in various places for extended periods. My nationality and primary service region are clearly evident from my subscription. Yet, every time I use it in a different region, I get recommendations and programs tailored to that region. This includes suggestions based on local popularity. Not to mention, certain shows I can access in one region become unavailable back home. The same applies to any social media platform, including Twitter (X). It recommends content popular in the local area. Google and YouTube also push region-specific results, though at least they can be adjusted somewhat. I’d like to point out to the esteemed colleagues that the Internet is like nature itself. Your current physical location on Earth does not override your cultural roots and preferences.
