Recently, we took a trip to the mountains, and my son spotted this sign! He was curious and asked why they don’t allow broken candles—turns out he meant fireworks! 😂 The signs were quite a mix, from Day Use Only to No Fireworks and even a playful No Poop Fairy reminder. Kids sure have a funny way of interpreting things! image
This year, I’ve encountered a mountain lion twice once in a zoo and once as a taxidermy display. Each time, my heart raced whether caged, stuffed, or alive, my life fills in danger. #lion #danger #daily image
Pretty classic
Some days, I fantasize about ditching the animals and land to live the high life, snagging meat and eggs from Costco like a suburban ninja. Other days, I slap myself back to reality, remembering the mission: building a small, sustainable farm stay that doesn’t involve me wrestling chickens at dawn. It’s a wild tug-of-war between craving convenience and chasing the dream, but I’m sticking to the muddy-boots endgame. Hopefully 😏 image
