Just been in the baker’s for a loaf. Β£4. I remember a woman in there not five years ago who couldn’t believe the price. β€œΒ£2? For a LOAF?” she said. 14% annual inflation doubles the price in 5 years. This is theft, pure and simple. But it isn’t the baker doing the stealing.
