How is every technological advancement being sold and promoted as being the greatest things since sliced bread and will improve efficiency, reduce cost, and create excess. But when it comes to fruition, society at large gets greater inequality, higher costs, and suppressed freedoms.
Seems it doesn’t matter how much efficiency and costs improve, greed trumps societies needs. I have yet to witness an improvement that has solved a worlds problem without bankrupting individuals or countries.
